What is adi shakti?

Adi Shakti is a term used in Hinduism, Sikhism, and other spiritual traditions that refer to the primordial, divine feminine energy that pervades all creation. In Hinduism, Adi Shakti is associated with the Hindu goddesses such as Durga, Kali, and Shakti. In Sikhism, Adi Shakti is believed to be the divine power that created and sustains the universe, and is associated with the concept of Waheguru, the divine creator.

Adi Shakti is often depicted as a powerful, goddess-like figure, with multiple arms holding various weapons and symbols of power. The term itself can be translated as "first power," or "original power," and is associated with the dynamic, creative force that is believed to have created the universe.

In some spiritual traditions, Adi Shakti is considered to be the essence of all spiritual practice, and is seen as the ultimate goal of spiritual awakening and transformation. By awakening and cultivating this divine energy within oneself, one can attain greater levels of spiritual awareness and consciousness, and ultimately unite with the divine.
